About the Speaker:
Jillian Heil, CIC, CRM
Specializing in strategic risk management for public entities and health and human service organizations, Jillian brings over a decade of experience in the insurance and risk management industry. Her passion lies in crafting tailored solutions that not only mitigate risk but also drive down costs for her clients. She consistently delivers innovative strategies to lower Total Cost of Risk for her clientele.
Before joining USI, Jillian played a pivotal role at ISN, a leading contractor and supplier information management system. During her tenure, she collaborated with clients to develop comprehensive insurance requirements for third-party contractors. She identified vendors that met and exceeded her client’s standards in areas such as health, safety, quality, training, cybersecurity and ESG compliance.
Jillian holds certificates as a Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager, highlighting her dedication to staying at the forefront of industry best practices. She is actively working toward obtaining a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas, where she earned her B.A. in biology.
Beyond professional accomplishments, Jillian is committed to making a difference in her community. She serves as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), advocating for the rights and well-being of children in the foster care system. Additionally, she is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, where she holds the position of secretary on the networking committee. She volunteers with the American Heart Association, where she assists with the Heart Ball Gala in Corpus Christi. She is a Buc Days member, serving on the Operations committee.
In 2023, Jillian relocated to Corpus Christi to lead USI’s local presence in the Coastal Bend region. Her move underscores her dedication to providing personalized, hands-on support to clients in the area, ensuring they receive a high level of service and attention.
